What to do

Use Google Sheets’ file-import workflow, select the matching separator, and inspect the resulting columns before using the data. Keep the original CSV and compare identifiers, dates, and amounts. Importing a CSV is a manual handoff, not a direct Parzable-to-Sheets connection.

Choose a new or staging sheet so an unreviewed import does not overwrite an established register.

Two worked review cases

These cases are fictional teaching data, not measured extraction results. Use the source excerpts to practise deciding what belongs in the reviewed output.

Suggested review columns

ColumnDefinition or instruction
Source fileUntouched exported CSV retained for comparison.
Import settingsSelected location, separator, and conversion options if offered.
Reviewed cellsIdentifiers and amounts checked after import.

These are suggested staging-sheet columns. Printed facts can inform field descriptions in Parzable’s Schemas view; source references, review statuses, and decisions must be supplied by your own review process.

A practical review sequence

  1. In Sheets, choose File → Import → Upload and select the CSV.
  2. Choose the intended import location and separator; review conversion settings when available.
  3. Compare several source records and retain a staging copy before the final handoff.

Errors to avoid

  • Do not assume a successful import preserves every source data type.
  • Do not append the same exported records twice while testing settings.

Use the case worksheet with a small sample

Download this page’s worked-case worksheet. It contains the two fictional cases above and a blank row for your own review exercise. Keep any real source documents in your agreed storage process.

For the broader product workflow, see the related guide. Parzable accepts PDF/image inputs and downloads CSV. Suggested structures here are review targets; nested item rows, automatic approvals, and destination integrations are not guaranteed.
