What this tool does

Enter CSV and key headers such as Vendor and Invoice number. Comparisons trim surrounding spaces and ignore case, while preserving punctuation and leading zeros. The tool returns groups of repeated keys and lists rows with missing key values separately. It does not compare source documents or payment histories.

Try the worked example

Records 2 and 3 form one candidate group. Record 4 belongs to a different supplier and is not grouped with them. All prefilled values are fictional teaching examples.

Inputs stay in this page’s tool code. No account connection or invoice upload is needed. Use fictional or redacted data for testing.

Run the example to see the result.

Interpret the result

Candidates may include legitimate corrections or versions. Supplier display names may not uniquely identify legal entities. Review source, currency, amount, date, and import history before deciding whether records are duplicates.

Keep the original input and compare any transformed output before using it. A passed text or arithmetic check does not establish that the data matches an authentic invoice.

Use the result in a reviewed workflow

For context, read the related workflow guide. If you need to capture fields from a PDF or image, Parzable’s signed-in workflow uses a selected schema and downloads CSV. These browser utilities operate on text or values you supply; they do not invoke document extraction or connect to an accounting system.

CSV conventions are documented in RFC 4180. The controls here are intentionally limited to the rules stated on this page. Implementation and examples checked 18 October 2026.
