What to do

If you are authorized to access the invoice, obtain an accessible copy from the sender or remove its password using the known password and an approved document tool. Do not assume Parzable can unlock protected PDFs or provide a password field during upload.

Keep the original protected source under the agreed access controls and use only the necessary working copy.

Two worked review cases

These cases are fictional teaching data, not measured extraction results. Use the source excerpts to practise deciding what belongs in the reviewed output.

Suggested review columns

ColumnDefinition or instruction
Source filenameReference to the original protected document.
Accessible working copyFilename of the authorized copy prepared for extraction.
Preparation outcomePage count and completeness check after authorized preparation.

These are suggested staging-sheet columns. Printed facts can inform field descriptions in Parzable’s Schemas view; source references, review statuses, and decisions must be supplied by your own review process.

A practical review sequence

  1. Confirm permission and obtain the document through the normal business channel.
  2. Use the sender’s accessible copy or a known-password removal workflow.
  3. Verify page order, text, and completeness before uploading the working copy.

Errors to avoid

  • Do not send passwords in filenames or public review notes.
  • Do not treat an empty or failed PDF render as a completed extraction.

Use the case worksheet with a small sample

Download this page’s worked-case worksheet. It contains the two fictional cases above and a blank row for your own review exercise. Keep any real source documents in your agreed storage process.

For the broader product workflow, see the related guide. Parzable accepts PDF/image inputs and downloads CSV. Suggested structures here are review targets; nested item rows, automatic approvals, and destination integrations are not guaranteed.
