What to do

Keep the invoice number, issue date, and service period for each recurring bill. Similar descriptions and equal amounts across months can be legitimate. Use the period and source reference to distinguish records without treating the account number as a new invoice identifier.

A recurring arrangement does not guarantee identical prices or dates on every invoice.

Two worked review cases

These cases are fictional teaching data, not measured extraction results. Use the source excerpts to practise deciding what belongs in the reviewed output.

Suggested review columns

ColumnDefinition or instruction
Invoice numberIdentifier for this specific billing document.
Service periodPrinted period covered by the recurring charge.
Account or subscription referencePersistent account reference, kept separate from invoice number.

These are suggested staging-sheet columns. Printed facts can inform field descriptions in Parzable’s Schemas view; source references, review statuses, and decisions must be supplied by your own review process.

A practical review sequence

  1. Capture billing-period boundaries where the source provides them.
  2. Compare invoice identifiers rather than assuming every equal amount is duplicated.
  3. Record unusual adjustments separately from the recurring base charge.

Errors to avoid

  • Do not generate a missing month’s invoice from the previous month’s data.
  • Account numbers usually persist across bills and are weak invoice-identity keys.

Use the case worksheet with a small sample

Download this page’s worked-case worksheet. It contains the two fictional cases above and a blank row for your own review exercise. Keep any real source documents in your agreed storage process.

For the broader product workflow, see the related guide. Parzable accepts PDF/image inputs and downloads CSV. Suggested structures here are review targets; nested item rows, automatic approvals, and destination integrations are not guaranteed.
