What to do
Keep recurring plan charges, usage, device payments, adjustments, and one-time charges distinguishable when they are printed separately. A telecom bill may describe more than one service period or line, so record the scope attached to each amount.
The proposed schema is for source review; it does not connect Parzable to a telecom account.
Two worked review cases
These cases are fictional teaching data, not measured extraction results. Use the source excerpts to practise deciding what belongs in the reviewed output.
| Case | Fictional source excerpt | Review decision |
|---|---|---|
| Prorated charge | Monthly plan 40.00 plus partial-period adjustment 5.00 | Keep the adjustment distinct rather than treating 45.00 as a new base price. |
| Several lines | Line A has usage 8.00; line B has usage 3.00 | Preserve line association in the review data. |
Suggested review columns
| Column | Definition or instruction |
|---|---|
| Billing account and period | Printed account reference and overall bill period. |
| Service reference | Printed line or service identifier, minimized as needed for review. |
| Charge detail | Description, associated period, and amount for each charge group. |
These are suggested staging-sheet columns. Printed facts can inform field descriptions in Parzable’s Schemas view; source references, review statuses, and decisions must be supplied by your own review process.
A practical review sequence
- Read bill-level and service-level headings before extracting rows.
- Retain charge descriptions and the periods they explicitly cover.
- Check summaries against the relevant detail and avoid unnecessary personal-data fields.
Errors to avoid
- Do not assume all rows cover the same service dates.
- Do not confuse previous unpaid balances with new usage.
Use the case worksheet with a small sample
Download this page’s worked-case worksheet. It contains the two fictional cases above and a blank row for your own review exercise. Keep any real source documents in your agreed storage process.
For the broader product workflow, see the related guide. Parzable accepts PDF/image inputs and downloads CSV. Suggested structures here are review targets; nested item rows, automatic approvals, and destination integrations are not guaranteed.
